This handmade beaded ide is a good way to connect spiritually to the energies of Orisha Esu/Eshu/Elegba and Ogun. Esu and Ogun are Orishas in the Yoruba religion of the Yoruba people (originating from Yorubaland, an area in and around present-day Nigeria). As the religion has spread around the world, the name of this Orisha has varied in different locations, but the beliefs remain similar.
Esu is protective, benevolent spirit who serves Ifa, as a messenger between heaven and earth. Everything starts and ends with Esu. Esu requires constant appeasement in order to carry out his assigned functions of conveying sacrifices and divining the future. He is the guardian of the crossroads.

Ogun ye!!!! Ogun or Ogoun (Yoruba: Ògún, Portuguese: Ogum, Gu; also spelled Oggun or Ogou; known as Ogún or Ogum in Latin America) is a powerful orisa. He was the first Ooni of Ife after the demise of Oduduwa. A warrior and a powerful spirit of metal work, as well as a hunter and blacksmith who carries a machete and an axe. Ogun clears all blockages with these tools. Ogun is the master craftsman and artist, farmer, warrior, essence of destruction and creativity. His colors in the New World are green, black and white. In Nigeria, his color is red.

This ide contains his colors red and black. It also has a gemstone that represents free will and choice. When you wear this ide, you will feel the essence of the our Esu and Ogun, 2 powerful warriors.
